A gun rack for Broad Creek and the bay
Laurel sits on Broad Creek in western Sussex County, six miles from the Maryland line and about ninety minutes from Wilmington. Delaware Firearms is an online store built for that end of the state: rifled-barrel slug guns for the November and January deer seasons on Sussex farmland, 3-inch shotguns for the Delaware Bay marshes, muzzleloaders for the October split, carry pistols and the ammunition to feed all of it.
Delaware asks more of a buyer than the states around it. Handguns need a purchase permit from the State Bureau of Identification unless you hold a carry license, magazines are capped at 17 rounds, and a long list of semi-automatic rifles and shotguns cannot be sold here at all.
